Hull Asphalt Logistics and Distribution Supplies 1:6 Hill Surfacing Project in Remote Rural Area

When asked to deliver 600 tonnes of asphalt material to a remote rural location in North Yorkshire which required thirty tipper movements up a quarter mile long 1:6 hill, the Hull Asphalt Logistics and Distribution team rose to the challenge with great professionalism. A comprehensive site risk assessment was prepared following a survey of the unique site constraints. A trial delivery was organized and a weather window opportunity identified to commence deliveries to the hillside site. A safe escape area was pre-installed and the deliveries to the paving machine working uphill, were managed safely, efficiently and with great technical precision.
